About Me

Veronica is a graduate student at East Tennessee State University pursuing a Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Gender and Diversity Studies. She is also working on a Masters of Public Administration with a concentration in Economic Development and Planning. Her undergraduate degree work was in the fields of Women's Studies, Political Science, and International Affairs. She currently works as a graduate research assistant for the Women's Studies Program at ETSU.

Ms. Limeberry's speciality is in food security and food sovereignty--especially as it relates to gender in economically disadvantaged rural areas. She has traveled around the world studying the intersections between gender and food security and how women contribute to creating sustainable, food secure systems.  She plans to one day work on issues of gender and development to help create localized, environmentally and economically sustainable food systems.

She also believes in beauty, magic, hope, and life and clearly suffers from extreme wanderlust.
